How can I deactivate the antlions? Is there an "off" switch somewhere?
1 of 4: Yes, that's pretty much what it is.
2 of 4: Once you get to the upper ledge from which you can drop down to the next area, crouch-walk carefully all along the very edge of the ledge without falling down to the smaller grassy ledges below.
3 of 4: This should be enough to hit the "cancel antlions" trigger, but save your game before you go back down onto the sand near the thumper to find out.
4 of 4: NOTE: This is a new way to hit the trigger that I recently discovered. The old way was to drop down onto the first small grassy ledge in the area beyond and use box-stacking to get back up.
