How can I get my HEV on?
  • 1 of 5: First, you need the storage container that it's in to be opened.
  • 2 of 5: You could just wait for Barney to do it.
  • 3 of 5: Or you can open it yourself by using its control panel while Barney's busy with "Hedy Lamarr," the doctor's annoying pet headcrab.
  • 4 of 5: Once the container is open, just walk into it to perform an instant superhero-style change of outfit. Now it feels like Half-Life around here!
  • 5 of 5: TIP: After you're all HEV-ed up, find the armor recharger that's on the wall in a corner on the other side of the lab. It doesn't have a whole lot of charge, but go ahead and drain it -- no one else around here can use it.
