Secret Area
1 of 10: Hop up onto the horizontal wooden beam that's just above the water's surface and look up the shaft.
2 of 10: With the flashlight on, you should be able to see a box of shotgun shells and a health pack on a rocky ledge far above you.
3 of 10: You can pull them down with the gravity gun, but there's more on that ledge that you can't get from down below.
4 of 10: There's only one way to get up there....
5 of 10: Ride the barnacle tongue express!
6 of 10: Equip the crowbar and turn the flashlight on, then jump into the barnacle's tongue and look up at it while facing toward the ledge with the stuff on it.
7 of 10: When you get close enough to the barnacle to whack it, do so and immediately start leaning on the "Move forward" key.
8 of 10: That should allow you to land on the supply ledge and finish grabbing the stuff. (You may take some damage from the fall, but the health packs will easily make up for that.)
9 of 10: When you're done, you can just drop back into the water and be on your way.
10 of 10: ALTERNATIVE: Equip the gravity gun instead of the crowbar, then suck in the remaining supplies from the ledge as the barnacle's pulling you up. That way you won't have to land on the ledge after you kill the barnacle.
