Soldier and Zombie Tips
1 of 5: This is the first spot where you encounter Combine soldiers (not counting the snipers and hunter-chopper pilots). See the general Combine Soldier information to learn a bit more about them.
2 of 5: Hide against the train car until the soldiers finish off the zombies they're fighting.
3 of 5: Peek through the open center of the car just long enough to get off a shot or two with the .357 Magnum, then retreat and shoot soldiers with the SMG or shotgun as they come after you.
4 of 5: One of these soldiers may drop a pulse rifle. It's like a more powerful version of the SMG, and is great to use against soldiers at short-to-medium range.
5 of 5: After the battle's over, go back to previous supply stashes to pick up health and ammo that you didn't need before.
