Optional Supplies
1 of 8: If your armor rating is way below 100 (which it probably will be), you'll benefit from the supply area that's on your right as you drive toward the large bridge ahead.
2 of 8: Before you drive to where the antlions start spawning, get out of the jeep and make sure you have a good antlion-killing weapon like the shotgun or pulse rifle equipped.
3 of 8: Then get back in and drive ahead to where a wrecked car is stuck between two tall rocks on a patch of rocky ground.
4 of 8: That's the supply area, so drive up to it (running over as many antlions as you can) and park on it.
5 of 8: Immediately exit the jeep and start shooting antlions.
6 of 8: Since you're on rocky ground, no more will spawn after you park. All you have to do is kill off all the ones that have already spawned.
7 of 8: Then you can bash open a couple of supply crates that will contain health packs plus several armor batteries if your armor rating isn't already way high. (There are also some frag grenades rolling around loose that you can get.)
8 of 8: If you didn't take way too much damage from the antlions before killing them, you should end up with a much higher armor rating than you started with.
