How can I get past this force field?
1 of 7: Thankfully, you don't have to go hunting for another force field control room -- just deal with it from here.
2 of 7: The key to it is to remember that even though *you* can't go through the force field, your weapons fire can.
3 of 7: You see that big cable that goes across the floor and ends in a large plug-in?
4 of 7: Shoot that plug-in!
5 of 7: Any weapon will do, including the gravity gun.
6 of 7: After the plug's out, the local force field will be down, giving you access to health and armor recharging stations as well as the train tracks' force field control panel.
7 of 7: NOTE: If you don't encounter a force field in the control room, it's probably because you tossed frag grenades into the room to deal with the soldiers, and one of them exploded close enough to the plug to knock it out.
