Half-Life 2 Hints
Hut Notes
of 10: After using the wrecky wooden bridge to jump over to the hill that the hut is on, start looking around for supplies.
of 10: Move the hut's detached door out of the way to get inside and find a box of .357 ammo and an SMG grenade on a table, plus a random bit of ammo on the floor.
of 10: Then go down the short wooden walkway past the hut and move the big wooden crates out of your way to find two supply crates.
of 10: From near the hut's doorway, look down on the sand to find two more supply crates near a wrecked rowboat.
of 10: Pull those crates in with the gravity gun so you won't have to go onto the sand to get them.
of 10: There are also two health packs in the wrecked rowboat, but they'll be harder to pull in.
of 10: When you're ready to leave, use the gravity gun to throw any supplies you can't use right away ahead to where you're going.
of 10: You can't get back across the wooden bridge you used to get here, so get across the sand to the big sloping rock that's to the right of the bridge.
of 10: To avoid having to fight antlions during that trip, use the gravity gun to pull large, flat junk items over to where you can use them as "stepping stones" to get across the sand unmolested.
of 10: You could use your moveable "stepping stones" to go further down the beach and collect some more supplies, but that probably wouldn't be worth the effort.
