Half-Life 2 Hints
Exactly how should I stack them?
1 of 7: If you've got the large rectangular crate, set it against the ledge wall upright so that it's "tall". (If you have two smaller square crates instead, stack them next to the ledge and pretend they're one big rectangular crate.)
2 of 7: Set one supply crate on top of it and one on the ground next to it.
3 of 7: Jump onto the lower supply crate, then onto the large crate, then onto the higher supply crate, and then back onto the upper ledge.
4 of 7: If you've only got one square crate, you'll have to do things a little differently.
5 of 7: Set the square crate against the ledge, then set one of the supply crates on top of it so that it lies flat (on its top or bottom, not on one of its edges).
6 of 7: The second supply crate needs to go on top of the first supply crate and against the ledge, and this one needs to be standing on one of its edges so that it's "taller" (and so you have room to stand next to it on the first supply crate).
7 of 7: Once you get it set up correctly, you can jump onto the square crate, then onto the first supply crate, then onto the second supply crate, and up to the ledge.
