1 of 5: During the combat phase, occasionally check the generator thingy that's near the booth (and listen to Alyx) so you'll know when it's time to blast the little bouncing generator core with the gravity gun.
2 of 5: Another clue that the generator's core is blastable will be that two white-clad Combine elite will approach through the left soldier entry point.
3 of 5: It's best to have a couple of pulse rifle energy orbs saved up just for them.
4 of 5: The instant you blast the generator core, run through the gate on the other side of the generator and take cover behind the control booth that's past it.
5 of 5: No matter how low your health and armor are, save your game in a regular slot if you make it this far. Congratulations, you just passed *the* hardest part of the game!
