Multi-Level Area Tips

  • 1 of 9: Look up and left as you enter the area -- there are three soldiers on that upper ledge where you can see a supply crate.
  • 2 of 9: You can try to bounce a frag grenade up onto their ledge so that it blows them up. (Note that you'd better use the gravity gun to pull in the supply crate first.)
  • 3 of 9: A better way is to run around on the walkway that's directly underneath their ledge. That'll motivate them to leave the ledge and run along the upper walkways.
  • 4 of 9: You can move back and forth on your walkway to alternately seek cover from and get good shots at the soldiers on the upper walkway.
  • 5 of 9: And take advantage of the fact that they'll be distracted by the zombie on the walkway below yours.
  • 6 of 9: After they're all dead, use the gravity gun to suck down the supply crate that's on their ledge, then bash open the one on your walkway if you haven't already.
  • 7 of 9: If the zombie below is still "alive," leave him that way and make sure he isn't in the way as you carefully drop down the wrecked stairs to a lower walkway. (If you drop carefully enough, you won't lose any health.)
  • 8 of 9: TIP: Before you drop down, toss down any nearby supplies you can't use right now in case you need them later.
  • 9 of 9: The zombie will be a distraction for the two soldiers who appear further along on the lower walkway that you dropped to, so take advantage of that to shoot them down quickly.
