How can I get across the sandy canal?
1 of 7: You start by dropping down into the sandy canal once it's clear of enemies, but you might want to read the following supply tip first.
2 of 7: Down in the canal, find the side passage and move along it, watching out for headcrabs (and any zombies that might have wandered in there from the canal).
3 of 7: Around the passage's corner, look for a well-lit alcove on the right with a ladder in it.
4 of 7: Before you climb the ladder, you might want to go for two nearby lambda-marked supply areas.
5 of 7: At the top of the ladder, quickly charge and crowbar-whack any poison headcrabs you see sitting around.
6 of 7: Move along to find yourself on the walkway on the sandy canal's other side.
7 of 7: NOTE: You may or may not meet a poison headcrab or two on this walkway, depending on how many you shot to death while still on the other side of the canal.
