Half-Life 2 Hints
How can I do that?
1 of 7: Before you start the street run, tell your squad to stay put in the corridor.
2 of 7: Then go outside slowly and stay out of the blast radius when the suppression gun targets a nearby car.
3 of 7: As soon as the blast is over, start running to the right of where the car was (so it won't fall on you) and toward the overturned trash bin.
4 of 7: Suppression blasts should then form a ways in front of you, anticipating your position, and you can easily back away to where they do you no damage.
5 of 7: As soon as a blast is over, start sprinting forward again to ensure the next blast will appear ahead of you instead of behind you or on top of you (much harder to avoid).
6 of 7: When you're in the trash bin, wait for your squad to go back into following mode and come out onto the street after you.
7 of 7: Watch for the suppression gun to start firing at them, then quickly make the run around the trash bin and down the rest of the street.
