Returning to the Previous Hallway Strategy
1 of 5: Before you summon the lift, use the gravity gun to grab a computer console and set it down next to the drop-off from the hallway.
2 of 5: Make sure you can easily jump back into the hallway from on the console. If not, reposition the console or try using a different one.
3 of 5: When that's set up, go use the lift's control panel and then run for the hallway and jump back up into it.
4 of 5: Let the soldiers see you up there so they'll come close, then use the old suck-and-throw method to finish them off.
5 of 5: Stay up there until the lift arrives, then finish off any remaining soldiers that you can see and use the nearby recharger before you drop down.
