In the back room, how can I get past the metal cage?
1 of 16: Take a look at the lock.
2 of 16: It looks like you are going to need to insert something into it. What kind of shape is that?
3 of 16: It looks like a chess piece, doesn't it?
4 of 16: See if you can find a chess piece to place in the lock.
5 of 16: Explore this back room thoroughly.
6 of 16: See that crown on the pedestal?
7 of 16: Lift it up, and you will actually find a piece - an ebony bishop.
8 of 16: Seems like it doesn't fit in the lock.
9 of 16: There must be a second chess piece somewhere!
10 of 16: Look around the store's main room for another chess piece.
11 of 16: Take a look at the costumes themselves -- one of them holds the key.
12 of 16: It's actually the knight -- take a closer look at him.
13 of 16: See that shape on the back of his left hand? It looks like a chess piece too.
14 of 16: Perhaps our bishop will work here? Insert the bishop into the knight's hand.
15 of 16: Aha! A small compartment on his wrist popped open and another piece was inside.
16 of 16: Use that new piece, a white king, on the lock, to open it and be able to proceed upstairs.
