The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft Hints

How can I lure Harold out of his dressing room?

  • 1 of 13: He'll only go out to the stage to practice his performance.
  • 2 of 13: And he will only do that if the stage is set for his heartrending soliloquy.
  • 3 of 13: Find his script first, so you know how to set the stage. There's a spare copy of it not far away.
  • 4 of 13: Head into the other dressing room at the opposite end of the hall and grab it. Hamlet 2? Ugh!
  • 5 of 13: The script tells you that you need spooky music, spooky lighting, a castle, a full moon, and a clock tower chiming.
  • 6 of 13: We can make all of these things happen quite easily once we have gotten upstairs to the gallery.
  • 7 of 13: You'll also need to set up the spooky music on the player piano at the right side of the stage. Simply grab the "Spooky" piano roll and use it with the piano to start that tube playing.
  • 8 of 13: Once you're at the gallery, head to the sound board. You'll need to have gotten it working first.
  • 9 of 13: Once you have, you simply need to follow the directions in the script. The castle backdrop is already set up.
  • 10 of 13: Turn on the spooky lights (button at the upper-left), the full moon (button at the lower-left), and press the Clock Tower button.
  • 11 of 13: This will send Harold out to the stage.
  • 12 of 13: Now head downstairs and the Hardy Boys will intercept him before he can get back to his room!
  • 13 of 13: He will cough up the name of Saint Ambrose hospital, which is our next destination.
