What does the button do?
1 of 6: Press it and find out.
2 of 6: It lowers that big cargo lift way over on the other side of the visible area.
3 of 6: You might want to shoot those alien slaves now instead of later. (Back away from the window quickly when they charge up to fire at you so that you don't get hit.)
4 of 6: The main point of doing this is so that crate of explosives that's on the lift will be available to you later on.
5 of 6: Now you need to go back to the main catwalk near the Drainage Canal sign. This time, go down its other branch and up the long ladder that's hiding in the shadows.
6 of 6: That will lead you to the room with two floating green barrels and lots of barnacles.
