Half-Life: Blue Shift Hints
After going over a waterfall, I'm stuck in a small lake!
1 of 11: Sure looks that way.
2 of 11: What you need to do is go up the little waterfall that's down at one end of the lake.
3 of 11: But you can't do that directly.
4 of 11: Did you notice that there's another tall, skinny waterfall leading down to the lake besides the one you dropped down?
5 of 11: Did you notice the big alien trampoline on the island in the middle of the lake?
6 of 11: Remember that running across those things can blow you waaaay up in the air.
7 of 11: You need to use the trampoline to get to the top of the other tall, skinny waterfall.
8 of 11: To do that, stand on the opposite side of the trampoline as the waterfall (facing the waterfall), then run forward and keep on running while in the air.
9 of 11: Once you make it up there, just follow the non-branching path along until you drop down into the river area, which is just beyond the lake.
10 of 11: Make your way upriver, using handy little jump-rocks, until you make it to another trampoline.
11 of 11: Use it to jump up to a nearby ledge, which leads very quickly to the area with the teleporter focusing machine you were sent to activate.
