How do I cross the big coolant basin room?
1 of 6: Have you tried jumping to the barrels that are floating out in the toxic sludge?
2 of 6: That doesn't work very well, does it?
3 of 6: You need to change the barrels' positions so that you can use them to cross.
4 of 6: You accomplish that in the coolant pump area.
5 of 6: Once you're through there, you should have a nice barrel bridge with which to cross the coolant basin. (Don't try to run across, but instead jump from barrel to barrel.)
6 of 6: Then you can continue on your way toward the auxiliary generator room.
