How do I get past the jumbled mess of boxes and spilled coolant barrels?
1 of 6: When you're going toward the auxiliary generator room, it's fairly easy.
2 of 6: Just jump up on top of the spilled barrel and then to the tops of the boxes.
3 of 6: Watch out for the alien grunt sentry, though. You might want to lob a grenade at him over the box tops before you jump up there. (Or jump up and down on the barrel and shoot him in the head with the shotgun or Mp5.)
4 of 6: When you're coming back from the generator room, it's a bit harder.
5 of 6: You have to crouch-jump over the red rail down onto the upright barrel and jump from it to the boxes.
6 of 6: Or, actually, you could crouch-jump over another rail next to the generator control room door to get straight back to the coolant basin room. Yes, that's it. Do that.
