Half-Life: Opposing Force Hints
Ichthyosaurs
Ichthyosaurs are the alien equivalent of sharks. They look, act, and exist like sharks. You will only find them in water. Ichthyosaurs will pace around the container they are in and they will usually circle their prey before they attack.
They will charge and attack their enemies in one swift motion. Their attacks can easily confuse you, preventing you from recovering quickly. Hence, avoid direct attacks from ichthyosaurs. It is often better just to swim quickly past them before they can attack. Few weapons work in water so unless you can fight them, you might as well just avoid them if possible.
