Half-Life: Opposing Force Hints

I need to get across the rooftops!

  • 1 of 11: In order to get out of the building ruins, you will have to reach a particular rooftop with some air ducts on it.
  • 2 of 11: There is a ladder that leads up to another rooftop that might help you out.
  • 3 of 11: Though you can get close, you cannot quite reach the rooftop you need to get to.
  • 4 of 11: Instead, you need to find some sort of a makeshift bridge to get across.
  • 5 of 11: The wire strung between the two rooftops will work, but it is electrified.
  • 6 of 11: You have to turn off the electricity.
  • 7 of 11: The control switch is nearby. Start looking over the edges of the only rooftop you can be walking atop.
  • 8 of 11: There is a ladder that drops down between a large fence and a heavy garage door.
  • 9 of 11: Some alien plant life has prevented the garage door from fully closing. You can crawl underneath.
  • 10 of 11: On the other side of the garage door, there is a small maintenance room that has the control box in it. Flip the switch and head back to the wire.
  • 11 of 11: Once the wire is dead, you can carefully navigate your way across it to where the ventilation ducts are. Drop down into the parking garage.
