How do I get across the room with the two dangling electrical wires?
1 of 8: The room with two dangling purple electrical wires, two alien grunts, quite a few blue beams of electricity, and a floor flooded with radioactive waste can be quite a challenge.
2 of 8: You need to make it across to the platform on the far side of the room; the one with the alien grunts.
3 of 8: You should probably kill the grunts before you attempt to make the crossing.
4 of 8: If you carefully sidle into view of the other side of the room, you can shoot some explosive crates to kill off the first grunt easily. The other one is off to the right, and should be lovingly grenaded to death.
5 of 8: Once you're done with that, you'll need to swing across to the other side of the room on the two dangling wires.
6 of 8: But first, get out your 9mm handgun and shoot one of the many pointy little zapnodes that the electricity is being conducted by.
7 of 8: The whole system will blow up, leaving you with safe wires to swing on.
8 of 8: You can make it across the room easily by jumping to the first wire, leaning on the up arrow key a bit, jumping to the second wire, more up-arrowing, and then jumping to the floor across the room. There's no need for a bunch of fancy swinging back and forth.
