What is with the Black Ops' orders?
1 of 4: The Black Ops assassins have been receiving orders from a higher authority that blatantly contradict the military's orders.
2 of 4: Radio transmissions and your personal eavesdropping will let you in on the little that is revealed throughout the game, but it appears that the military couldn't cut it and the Black Ops have been called in to clean up after them.
3 of 4: The military is already supposed to have pulled out in order to allow them to do their job of blowing up the entire Black Mesa facility with a Mark IV thermonuclear device, which you will see later on in "The Package." They can't allow anyone to hinder them in that mission, and are trained to trust no one.
4 of 4: Needless to say, the Black Ops aren't about to make your life any easier.
