How do I open the tunnel access doors?

  • 1 of 8: There is a switch in the Sector E - B storage room that will open the tunnel doors.
  • 2 of 8: Unfortunately, the room is full of Black Ops assassins that you will have to deal with. Bring some soldiers with you to help deal with them.
  • 3 of 8: Or, if you're the patient sort and want to save your soldiers for an even bigger and harder battle that's coming up soon, you could sneak-shoot all of the assassins.
  • 4 of 8: After saving your game, approach the room slowly and look to the corner on the right for your first target. Sneak into position to where you can see her leg, then blast her with the Desert Eagle.
  • 5 of 8: As soon as you do, face back front and wait for another assassin to run into view next to one of the big wooden boxes ahead of you. Take her down, then go for the others.
  • 6 of 8: There are six assassins total. To find out where they all start out, you could use the "notarget" cheat code to enter the room and look around (without doing any attacking), and then turn notarget off and restore your save.
  • 7 of 8: Another important note is that on Difficult level, it takes two Desert Eagle slugs to kill an assassin, and they'll start running around after the first hit, making everything much harder. You might just want to give in and bring some soldiers along.
  • 8 of 8: Once the assassins are gone, move towards the right of the room and you will find a staircase leading up to a platform with the control lever on it. Pull the lever to open the tunnel access doors.
