The Hand of Fate Hints
How do I get rid of this rat?
of 19: I'll save you the trouble of looking for cheese, because you're not going to find any to give to this rat.
of 19: Have you looked through your spell book yet?
of 19: Then you have probably seen the swampsnake spell.
of 19: If you use it in front of the rat, he will run away.
of 19: You shouldn't try making the potion until you've been to all of the other screens in this section of the game -- if you're still missing screens, then you won't find all of the necessary ingredients.
of 19: You won't find many of the ingredients exactly as they're listed in the spell. Read on to find out how to get them.
of 19: For the smell of eggs, you need to find something well known for its smell.
of 19: Try the sulfur from the hot springs.
of 19: The lizard's tears can come from the alligator at the lagoon. See another question in this section to see how to get them.
of 19: The onion is easy -- you can find several growing out of the ground.
of 19: Mushrooms and toadstools aren't the same thing.
of 19: But a toad's stool will work.
of 19: Use the piece of furniture from Herb's place.
of 19: The windy woof is probably the toughest ingredient. Think about those two words and try to find synonyms in the items available.
of 19: When you see "windy," think "twisty" (long "i") -- not "breezy" (short "i").
of 19: And a woof can also be expressed as another sound.
of 19: Try a piece of gnarlybark from the tree.
of 19: The hot water is available at the hot springs. Just use a flask on the water there to get some.
of 19: And make sure to use the water quickly, before it cools.
