Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints
How can I figure out what moves to make in order to open the jar?
of 14: Coordinate the three pieces of information you have displayed on the puzzle board.
of 14: Start with the bottom left piece, which is what you got from the trolley wheel's secret message.
of 14: Notice that it has blue and red arrows drawn along the top of it, and beneath each arrow are the names of two parts of the heart.
of 14: Remember that the jar has two lids to unlock, not just one. That must be why there are two heart parts listed under each colored arrow.
of 14: You'll need to remove the top lid first, so look at the first item listed under each arrow.
of 14: The "vena cava superior" is listed under the blue arrow, and the "valva aortae" is listed under the red arrow.
of 14: Convert those to numbers by using the top two documents.
of 14: The top right document has the names, and the top left document has the numbers.
of 14: Correlating them, you'll see that the "vena cava superior" is number 1, and the "valva aortae" is number 5.
of 14: Since the "vena cava superior" was listed under the blue arrow, use the two blue arrows next to the lid to get the blue hand to point to the numeral I (which means 1 in Roman numerals).
of 14: Since the "valva aortae" was listed under the red arrow, use the two red arrows next to the lid to get the red hand to point to the numeral V (which means 5 in Roman numerals).
of 14: That'll get rid of the first lid, so click on the paper with the big 6 on it to get it out of the way, then start in on the second lid.
of 14: The second thing listed under the blue arrow on the secret message is "atrium sinistrum," which translates to the number 8. Set the lid's blue hand to point at VIII, which is the Roman numeral for 8.
of 14: The second thing listed under the red arrow on the secret message is "truncus pulmonalis," which translates to the number 2. Set the lid's red hand to point at II, which is the Roman numeral for 2.
