How can I help Finley out?

  • 1 of 8: He wants you to get the police to help him with a troublemaking vagrant called the Captain, so return to the police station. (TIP: Use the map to fast-travel there.)
  • 2 of 8: Talk to Constable Humphries about the Captain to learn that he has a niece who puts him up sometimes.
  • 3 of 8: Talk to the niece about her uncle and taking care of him to learn that he has a bad cough that Watson might be able to help with.
  • 4 of 8: The next thing to do is find the Captain.
  • 5 of 8: After asking Watson about the Captain's state of health, Holmes will need to get some medicine for him.
  • 6 of 8: Fast-travel to the "Dead End" marker, then go to your Items menu.
  • 7 of 8: Click on the medicine to select it, then exit the menu and talk to Watson to hand it over.
  • 8 of 8: That'll get the Captain taken care of, so fast-travel to the boarding house and talk to Finley to tell him the good news.
