How can I fix up the ladder?
1 of 9: Look on the ground under the stairs to find several small light gray planks.
2 of 9: Click on the interactive one to take them, then look for something to nail them to.
3 of 9: Look in the back left corner of the area to find some long poles leaning against the wall.
4 of 9: Take them all, then check your inventory to find that you have one good wooden pole and two not-so-useful sticks.
5 of 9: However, that's easy to fix. Just combine the two sticks in inventory to form another wooden pole. (To combine two inventory items, drag and drop either one of them onto the other.)
6 of 9: Combine the two wooden poles to get them into the same inventory slot, then combine them with the small planks to make an assembled ladder.
7 of 9: However, it won't work yet, since you haven't properly nailed it together.
8 of 9: You'll find some nails on a bench, near the spot where you got your wooden poles.
