Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints
How can I get in to talk to Squibby?
of 14: After you get Bella to admit that Squibby is in the police station, ask her about Danny.
of 14: It seems that Danny hates cats. How could you use that fact to create a big distraction for the police?
of 14: Check your inventory to see that the perfume Bella let you keep is Valerian, or "Capon's Tail." Where have you heard of that before?
of 14: If you haven't, you'll need to visit the pet shop now and take care of some business there.
of 14: The page that was copied from the cat book into your Documents menu says that Valerian has an irresistible attraction for all passing cats. Get the idea yet?
of 14: Fast-travel back to the police station and talk to Big Danny again after selecting the Valerian in inventory.
of 14: Unfortunately, she isn't willing to just dump the stuff all over herself, but insists that it be put in a container that can be used to spray it on.
of 14: Talk to Hardiman about everything, and Holmes will have the idea of buying all of his "cat kebabs" so the kids can lure cats to the police station.
of 14: After the cut-scenes are over, you'll be inside the station, so look around for Squibby.
of 14: Find the door in the dim side area to the left of the constable's desk, and click on it to bring up a lockpicking puzzle.
