How can I get into the house at 17 Wharfdale Road?
1 of 10: Go up to the front door and see if it'll open.
2 of 10: Try the handle to get Holmes to note that the lock is solid but old, and should be forceable.
3 of 10: Your pocketknife won't do it, so look around for something else.
4 of 10: Go left around the house to a small backyard area.
5 of 10: Turn left as you enter it, and look for a large interactive black item next to the wall.
6 of 10: Click on it to see that it's a tarred cover.
7 of 10: Maybe if Holmes could take a piece of that stiff stuff, he could use it to force the lock like some people do these days with credit cards.
8 of 10: His pocketknife should be able to cut off a piece.
9 of 10: Select the pocketknife in inventory, then click on the tarred cover to get a piece of tarred tarpaulin.
10 of 10: Select the tarpaulin in inventory, then go click on the front door's handle again to force it open.
