Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints
The key is bent! How can I make it work?
of 11: When you picked it up, Holmes said that it just needed a little repair job.
of 11: So use the workbench that's between the lift and the door to repair it.
of 11: Click on the workbench to get a close-up view of it, then look it over to see what might be helpful in straightening the key.
of 11: The hammer or pincers might be able to straighten out the key, but how could you hold onto it tightly enough?
of 11: Notice the vise over on the right side of the table. Its handle is interactive.
of 11: Click on the handle to close the vise, then use the key from inventory on the top of the vise to place it.
of 11: Now use a tool to straighten out the key.
of 11: It turns out that the pincers work best for that, so pick them up, select them in inventory, and click on the key.
of 11: After that, you can click on the key to take its newly straightened self.
of 11: Exit the workbench close-up, then go use the key from inventory on the door to unlock it and go outside.
of 11: NOTE: You can reenter the cellar later on through this door if you ever need to go back for something you missed.
