How can I find out which desk is Tom Bulling's?

  • 1 of 8: You can't tell just by going around and looking at the desks, so you'll have to ask someone who knows.
  • 2 of 8: Try asking the guy who's standing near one of the windows.
  • 3 of 8: When you talk to him, Holmes will have the idea of trading him a "scoop" for info on Bulling.
  • 4 of 8: What scoop could you give him, and how would you do it?
  • 5 of 8: Checking your inventory, you'll see that you still have the fancy poster from the upstairs room of the house at 17 Wharfdale Road.
  • 6 of 8: What if you gave him that poster and told him about the séance scam that you discovered?
  • 7 of 8: Select the poster in inventory, then talk to the reporter about the scoop.
  • 8 of 8: You'll then know that Bulling's desk is the one that's closest to the stove.
