Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints

The butcher's shop is closed. How can I get in?

  • 1 of 8: Click on the front door to learn that the shop is closed due to illness.
  • 2 of 8: The clinic is right nearby, so if the butcher really is ill, Dr. Gibbons will probably know about it.
  • 3 of 8: Talk to Gibbons to learn that Hardiman, the "beep-beep" cat food seller, has the butcher's shop key.
  • 4 of 8: Talk to Hardiman to learn that the key you need is broken.
  • 5 of 8: In order to get it fixed, you'll have to fetch it for Hardiman, plus get him another key with a simpler blade.
  • 6 of 8: Return to Hardiman and talk to him about the key to get him started on fixing it.
  • 7 of 8: Talk to him about everything else that comes up, and you'll soon find yourself next to the butcher shop.
  • 8 of 8: The front door is now unlocked, so click on it to go inside.
