Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints
How do I adjust the mannequins after dressing them up?
of 14: Holmes will prompt you each time.
of 14: The first time, he'll say to adjust the height of the mannequin corresponding to Constable Smith's testimony so that it matches the others.
of 14: So decrease the middle mannequin's height to 5 3.
of 14: Next, Holmes wants to correct the discrepancies in the hair color, and tells you to turn out the light.
of 14: Look for the light switch to the left of the apartment's exit door, then click on it.
of 14: Click on it again when Holmes says to turn the lights back on, then click on a mannequin to return to the dress-up screen.
of 14: Holmes has concluded that the killer has blonde hair, so click blonde wigs on the middle and right mannequins' heads to update them.
of 14: Click on the mannequins again to bring up a modified dress-up screen that focuses on the ages.
of 14: After that's done, you'll be asked to use the age ranges to figure out the age of the murderer.
of 14: That may seem difficult due to the fact that there are a lot of numbers involved in all the ranges.
of 14: For a big clue, average all three of the pre-set ages together.
of 14: You'll get (30 + 26 + 40) / 3 = 32. However, that's not quite right.
of 14: Looking through the ranges, you'll see that 33 is a much more common number than 32. In fact, it's the only number that all three mannequins have in their ranges.
