What do I need to do?
1 of 12: Ask Bella about the favor and what happened, and she'll refer you to Mary.
2 of 12: She's the one scrubbing the floor nearby.
3 of 12: Talk to her and ask about everything to learn that the man who brought the coal yesterday is your main cane-stealing suspect.
4 of 12: Talk to the guy on the couch about everything to get a description of his stolen cane, then leave the brothel and start searching for it.
5 of 12: You won't find it anywhere, so try looking for some related evidence.
6 of 12: Maybe that big-booted coalman left a giant footprint somewhere else. If so, you might be able to ask someone there about him to learn more.
7 of 12: Look around to see what other places might need deliveries of coal.
8 of 12: You'll find that the clinic has a coal-burning stove.
9 of 12: Look on the floor near it for an interactive footprint.
10 of 12: Click the magnifying glass cursor on it, then talk to the doctor about the footprints and the stolen cane.
11 of 12: Go to the back of the clinic and open the large cupboard, then click the hand cursor on its interior to bring up the cane-reassembly puzzle screen.
