1 of 8: After all the observation notes are placed, there will be three "arrow-choice" spaces.
2 of 8: Set the top one to "These items belong to the victim."
3 of 8: That brings up two conclusion blanks. Set the upper one to "The murderer searched A. Chapman."
4 of 8: Set the lower one to "A. Chapman's murderer is unfeeling and organised."
5 of 8: Set the highest still-blank space to "The crime was committed barely two hours ago."
6 of 8: Set the conclusion space that pops up to "The murder of A. Chapman was committed before 4:30 a.m."
7 of 8: Set the only remaining blank space to "The victim must have worn one or more rings."
8 of 8: To finish up, set the final conclusion space to "The murderer stole A. Chapman's rings."
