Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper Hints
How can I get to Whitechapel?
of 10: You'll need to get a map that you can use for travel.
of 10: After the game's opening cut-scenes are over, you'll be in control of Dr. Watson.
of 10: Close the case notebook, then follow the on-screen instructions to familiarize yourself with the controls.
of 10: When you get the instruction about picking up the map, notice that it says the map is on a table.
of 10: It's not on the table you start out next to, so check the other tables.
of 10: Look on the small wooden table to the right of the two windows.
of 10: You'll find the map on the right side of the table. Move to where you get a hand cursor on it, then click to take it.
of 10: When the map view comes up, click on the large magnified circle to get a close-up view of the Whitechapel area.
of 10: Find the fast-travel point that's near the left end of the red-outlined area. (Look for a light green circle that you can point at to get the words "Police Station" to appear.)
of 10: Click on the police station's fast-travel point, and Watson and Holmes will travel to a spot in Whitechapel that's near the police station's well-labeled entry door.
