General Epidemic Strategy and Info

• Epidemics are the result of keeping a less-than-tidy hospital.  Once one has been declared, you should slow the game speed down.  Then, decide to do one of two things:
  
  1) Declare an epidemic, pay a fine, and take a reputation hit.
  2) Cover up the epidemic, and run the risk of being discovered.  If you are discovered, you're in some serious trouble, but you could also could come out on top.
  
  In general, a good rule of thumb is to pay the low fines (those less than 10,000 dollars, because the cover-up fines are generally much more costly.  Cover-up the bigger fines (at least 10,000 dollars), because you generally won't lose more than you would have originally paid.
  
  If you are looking for extra money, however, you may want to attempt to cover up the little epidemics.  If there are only one or two infected patients total, it is very easy to cover up the epidemic.  After you have cured and vaccinated the infected patients, the stopwatch will immediately complete and the Minister of Health will show up.  This is good because it means that you have successfully covered up the epidemic.
  
  Also take into account, that the higher the fine will be, the more people will need to be vaccinated, in general, and the more contagious the disease will seem.
  
  The more epidemics you cover-up successfully, the more money will accumulate.  Your first successful cover-up earns you 5000 dollars.  Your second: 6000 dollars.  The next one in a row, successfully covered-up, will generally earn you around 10,000 dollars.  However, note that by failing to cover up an epidemic, you will be thrown back to ground zero.
  
  One final note: Always move the infected patients to front of the queue, no matter what.  You need to act fast to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
