How do I prevent news of the epidemic from reaching the Ministry of Health?
of 7: To begin with, hospital setup is at the very bottom of this.
of 7: The second an infected person walks through ANY of the automatic doors in your hospital, their germs are released to the world, even if they are just on their way to a treatment room. The Ministry of Health somehow picks up on this.
of 7: So try to keep people from exiting the hospital.
of 7: One option is to buy hospital add-ons instead of entirely separate buildings. The places where additions connect to a hospital building can generally be picked out by their closed-off halls.
of 7: If you keep the majority of the hospital within one building, you won't run into problems. However, if one of the rooms that an infected patient needs to get to is in a separate building you can't stop them, unless...
of 7: ...you try guessing at their diagnosis. This is pretty much the only way to get them to turn around and head the other direction. Sometimes this may not work because the patient's illness has not been diagnosed yet.
of 7: Otherwise, if you just ran out of time or you have cured all of the infected patients that were a part of the epidemic, there isn't much you can do.
