What level should I set the Diagnosis Level at?

  • 1 of 5: The Diagnosis Level determines the number of diagnosis rooms that your doctors will use to diagnose a patient.  Set the Diagnosis Level higher to better cure patients' ailments.
  • 2 of 5: At a higher Diagnosis Level, you will receive more money (as the result of the extra machines used) and will be more likely to cure your patients, resulting in a lower death count.  Also take into account that more people will be clogging up your hospital at higher levels, since it takes longer to treat patients.  You need to balance these two extremes.
  • 3 of 5: In general, 125% works well enough for me.
  • 4 of 5: If you need a higher "patients-waited-on" percentage and you have all of the diagnosis equipment, then boost the Diagnosis Level to 150% or higher.
  • 5 of 5: Also set your Guess-at-Cure setting to about 80-85%.  With the higher Diagnosis Level, you will be more likely to cure your patients, and you will have a better Guess-at-Cure percent for your patients.  After doing this, you should be able to cure almost every patient who comes to your hospital.
