The patients are having to stand!
1 of 5: The patients are having to stand as the result of lacking the proper seating arrangements -- namely benches.
2 of 5: If you have already lined the walls with benches, find out where people are standing. If they're in a backed up queue, fix the queue by making sure that the room is properly staffed. You can also refer people to other hospitals or send them home. If the queue is backed up due to high demand, however,you might want to build more of the same type of room.
3 of 5: You can also fill the corridors with benches.
4 of 5: In the tight corridors, line the benches back-to-back in the middle of the hallway. But leave openings every 5 benches so that people can get around the benches.
5 of 5: Then in spacious corridors, place benches in a square, with benches facing north, south, east, and west. There should be a space in the middle which will be left over. This is often a good place to put a radiator or plant.
