Where is this handyman going? He just walked over a piece of litter!
1 of 2: The Handymen often are heading to a staff room or a broken down piece of equipment; these Handymen will pass over the scattered trash.
2 of 2: To try to get a Handyman to pick up the trash, right-click on him and then place him on the trash. If he doesn't begin to pick the trash, try it again. If, he doesn't try to clean it up on the third try, he obviously has other things to do first, and you should find a different Handyman to help.
