Hotel Dusk: Room 215 Hints
What am I supposed to do with this memo?
1 of 8: You can't do anything with it until you've got both halves of the memo.
2 of 8: It looks like a game, doesn't it? Try connecting the dots.
3 of 8: Don't connect ALL of the dots.
4 of 8: Notice that some of the "dots" are stars and triangles.
5 of 8: Connect the stars, connect the triangles, and connect the dots, but don't connect any triangles to stars, or any dots to triangles or stars.
6 of 8: You've got three separate lines now: the dot line, the star line, and the triangle line. If you examine these lines from the right angle, you should be able to figure out what they are. (In the next clue, I'll just tell you what the lines are.)
7 of 8: Rotate your screen horizontally, and you'll see that the lines are really three numbers. (Unfortunately, the number is selected randomly each time you play, so I can't tell you what the numbers are.)
Can you figure out what you need to do with those three numbers?
8 of 8: There's a three-digit combination lock on the top-right corner of the filing cabinet. Enter the three numbers you found into the lock to open the drawer.
