How do I open the door to the left of the iris in the East Arena?

  • 1 of 9: Notice that there's a giant stone block hanging above it.
  • 2 of 9: And there's something else going through the block.
  • 3 of 9: There's a rope that seems to be keeping the door shut.
  • 4 of 9: Perhaps you could cut the rope.
  • 5 of 9: How about that sword you saw when you first entered the East Arena?
  • 6 of 9: With your sword in hand, you should be able to cut the rope.
  • 7 of 9: Climb the stairs to the left of the door, and you'll see the rope overhead.
  • 8 of 9: Swing your sword when you're standing in front of the rope, and you'll cut it and open the door.
  • 9 of 9: If that doesn't work, try jumping first -- that sometimes helped me get a higher swing.
