I've cut the rope, but I still don't know what that does for me.
1 of 12: Maybe the rope would let you get somewhere new.
2 of 12: First, you need to go down and find the bottom.
3 of 12: That means walking back into the large hall in between the two drawbridges. Go all the way around and down the walkway that you collapsed earlier -- this should bring you down to the lowest level of the drawbridge area.
4 of 12: Notice the broken window in front of the rope.
5 of 12: Actually, notice *two* broken windows in front of the rope.
6 of 12: One's close to ground level, and one's another floor up.
7 of 12: Both lead to the same room, but only one will help you bring Yorda along.
8 of 12: Try swinging into that second-level window.
9 of 12: When you do, you can walk around a ledge and eventually find a box.
10 of 12: That box is what Yorda needs to reach up.
11 of 12: Push it all the way back through the first floor window and use R1 to call her up -- she'll stand on the box and grab your outstretched hand. The two of you can now continue onto the next stage.
12 of 12: Just go up the stairs in this room and through the idol doors at the top.
