How do I turn off the water?
1 of 5: Note: I've heard that the European version of the game has a different puzzle here. I can't help you here -- these hints are just for the US version of the game, which I played.
2 of 5: There's a ladder on the other side of the canal.
3 of 5: Climb it and look around.
4 of 5: There's a wheel at the top of the ladder.
5 of 5: Push or pull it counterclockwise a few turns, and the water will eventually turn itself off.
