Save Point: Water Tower
1 of 2: There's a couch at the start of the Water Tower area, the next major screen after the Gondola.
2 of 2: Although the couch is near the start of the level, Ico and Yorda can return here to save as needed. You may want to do this after you've made major progress, since several of the jumps on this screen can be rather tricky.
