How do I open the main door back out of the West Arena?

  • 1 of 8: The basic concept is the same as what you did in the East Arena, although the details are a little bit different this time around.  You might want to do a little exploring first -- the hints below will tell you what you need to know, although they don't necessarily spell out the most direct route to the solution.
  • 2 of 8: You had to walk Yorda up the water slide and follow a path from there to the arena.
  • 3 of 8: When you get to the top of the water slide, you may discover that the path back to the West Arena is boarded up.
  • 4 of 8: After you've opened the door, proceed across the drawbridge to the arena.
  • 5 of 8: Again, you're headed for the platform above the iris.
  • 6 of 8: Once you're there, look for the switch that opens the two spheres below the iris.
  • 7 of 8: And light the spheres (using one of the sticks down by the iris, if you don't have one) to open the iris.
  • 8 of 8: Again, you can use the lit spheres near the other iris to light your torch, or if you haven't lit those yet, the torches on the platform above the iris will also work.
