Ico Hints

Light's now shining from this half of the symmetry, but where do I go next?

  • 1 of 7: Both halves of the main gate should be lit up now.
  • 2 of 7: Maybe you should try leaving the castle.
  • 3 of 7: The quickest way to get to the main gate is to lower the last drawbridge in the courtyard with all of the bridges.
  • 4 of 7: Then go down the ladder again, through the door at the bottom of the ladder, and cross the drawbridge you just lowered.  You should now be able to walk back to the main gate from here.
  • 5 of 7: Specifically, go into the large "chasm room", walk all the way to the other side of the room, and take the slanted walkway that you knocked over to get to the bottom of that room.  Go back outside, and you'll be near the bottom of the drawbridge area.  The main gate is through a set of idol doors that you opened already.
  • 6 of 7: Just go down the stairs to reach the very bottom of this section.  The entrance is opposite from the chasm room down here.
  • 7 of 7: Walk up to the main gate, and Yorda will open it in a cut-scene that follows.
