I've gotten past that gate, but how do I get out of this section?

  • 1 of 11: Notice that there are lots of machines around here.
  • 2 of 11: Many of them seem to involve large spinning gears or wheels.
  • 3 of 11: Maybe they could carry you out of here.
  • 4 of 11: But unfortunately, most of them are out of reach.
  • 5 of 11: There is one within reach on a dry patch of land that's to your left as you're first coming through the gate, but it doesn't seem to be running when you first get here.
  • 6 of 11: Once the machine's running, you need to use it for a bit of a lift.
  • 7 of 11: Remember the windmill?
  • 8 of 11: Jump onto one of the bars sticking out from the large wheel, and then jump off when you're above the platform at the top of the wheel.
  • 9 of 11: If you're having trouble catching a bar, try standing so that the bars are moving toward you and jump forward to meet them.  This gives you a little more margin for error.
  • 10 of 11: If you've read the hints above, you should now be at your second wheel with bars sticking out.  You know what to do here.
  • 11 of 11: Jump into a bar moving toward you, and then jump off again at the top.
